  • Design fees are based on the scope of your project. After we discuss your goals, we’ll prepare a proposal with a clear fee, deliverables, and timeline so you know what to expect before work begins. For full-service projects, the agreement outlines the payment schedule and how furnishings and materials are purchased.

    This structure keeps the process transparent and predictable, no surprises, just a clear plan and beautiful results.

  • Creating a design budget can feel overwhelming, but we’ll help you every step of the way. During your consultation, we’ll talk through your goals, priorities, and the level of investment that makes sense for your home.

    Because we work across a wide range of furnishings and finishes, we can tailor the plan to fit your comfort level, while still creating a cohesive, beautiful space. Your proposal will include an estimated range for furnishings and materials, so you’ll always know where your investment is going.

  • Our design sessions are a collaborative walk-through of your home to talk about what’s working, what’s not, and what’s possible. We’ll discuss your goals, style, and priorities, and offer ideas, advice, and next steps.

    We charge for this time because we get right to work. You’ll receive professional guidance, actionable steps, and clear notes to help you move forward with confidence, whether you continue with Kit Easton Designs or take the plan and run with it.

  • Every project has its own rhythm. A color consultation might be wrapped up during our consultation, while full-service design or renovation projects can take several months. We’ll share a realistic timeline during your proposal phase and keep you updated every step of the way.

  • We collaborate closely with our team of trusted local trades to bring your design to life. Kit Easton Designs does not replace or supply a general contractor for large construction projects. We’re happy to discuss working alongside your contractor, as long as both parties are in agreement. Clear communication and teamwork are key to a smooth and beautiful result.

  • Absolutely. Not every project has to be a full-home transformation. We love helping with focused updates like color selection, finish choices, or furnishing a single space. Sometimes a few thoughtful changes can make all the difference.

  • After your consultation, we’ll review our contract and step-by-step process. Once you feel 100% confident, we’ll sign the agreement and schedule a site visit for our design team (and any needed trades) to measure, photograph, and confirm scope. Then we get to work.

  • es. For full-service projects, we can source and coordinate furnishings and materials as part of the design process. Products purchased through Kit Easton Designs are billed at retail pricing, and we handle the ordering details described in your proposal. If you prefer to purchase certain approved pieces directly, we can discuss that as part of your project plan.
